Blockout (also known as blockout paste) is a specialized sealing and repair material for screen printing mesh/stencils. It is used for edge sealing to prevent ink leakage, blocking off areas not intended for printing, and repairing pinholes or pitting, ensuring that ink is transferred only through the desired mesh openings. It is available in three systems: water-based, solvent-based, and UV-curable. Selection should be matched to the ink type and mesh material.
